This piece was inspired by the thought of life's brief beauty. Butterflies remind me of the delicate quality of life; they fly by us, creating a beautiful snapshot moment, and it's meant to transform us. I have always dreamt of butterflies landing on me, but have yet to experience such a luxury. This made me wonder if I could beautify the scary thought of death by thinking that even when we are gone from this life, we are still a part of it. In our rejoining the earth, we may return in the cells of a butterfly wing.
